Blue Mountain Heights is a locality in the Toowoomba Region, Queensland, Australia, located 7 kilometres (4 mi) from the Toowoomba city centre via New England Highway. Blue Mountain Heights was derived from a hotel name, formerly called Blue Mountain Estate, named by Queensland Place Names Board 1 May 1975. Named and bounded by the Minister for Natural Resources 12 February 1999. Regazetted without change by the Minister for Natural Resources and Mines, 23 September 2005.
