Corndale is a small suburban town located in the local government area of the Lismore City Council in the state of New South Wales. Corndale is within the Clunes-Bexhill and District, which is mainly a rural region. Settlement in Corndale and in neighbouring areas began in the mid- 1800s. Corndale, (postcode 2480) is 140 kms South of Brisbane and 14 kms NE of Lismore. Dairy farming and logging were the primary uses for the land area during that time.
