Eagleton is a suburb of Hunter Valley, New South Wales and is about 140 kms north-northeast of NSW's capital city of Sydney. In the 2011 Australian census the population of Eagleton was 234 when there were 118 Females and 116 Males living there. Eagleton is a small rural town found in the Newcastle region of Queensland. The area of Eagleton is made up of farms and residential areas that are scattered throughout the flatlands of Eagleton. Eagleton is bound by the Williams River to the west and the to the east, providing easy access through different modes of transportation. The area is largely rural and family farms are located near the scenic drives on the Six Mile Road.
