Hovea is a suburb of South Western, Western Australia and is about 25 kms east-northeast of WA's capital city of Perth. In the 2011 Australian census the population of Hovea was 637 when there were 333 Females and 304 Males living there. It is centred on Jane Brook and encompasses the Railway Reserve Heritage Trail (formerly the Eastern Railway) and John Forrest National Park.
