Moresby is a suburb of South East & Central, Western Australia and is about 378 kms north- northwest of WA's capital city of Perth. In the 2011 Australian census the population of Moresby was 771 when there were 383 Females and 388 Males living there. Moresby is a locality northeast of Geraldton, Western Australia, on the north bank of the Chapman River. Its local government area is the City of Greater Geraldton.
