About Queens Beach
Description
Queens Beach is a suburb of Central Coast,
Queensland and is about 965 kms north-
northwest of QLD's capital city of Brisbane.
Queens Beach is Bowen’s main northern beach
and occupies 4.5 km of Queens Bay, a relatively
open, north to north-east facing bay located
between the western mouth of the Don River and
rocky Cape Edgecumbe. The beach lies just 2 km
north-west of Bowen town centre and the suburbs
of Queens Beach and Edgecumbe Heights back its
west and eastern shores respectively.
