Vineyard is located 50 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Blacktown. Vineyard is part of the Greater Western Sydney region. It is bounded in the west by Eastern Creek until its confluence with South Creek, a tributary of the Hawkesbury River.
